King's Preschool is a Christian preschool for children ages 2.5 to 5 years old. Our teachers provide a nurturing Christ-centered environment where preschoolers gain a foundation for academic learning, grow in their faith, and have fun.鈥�
King鈥檚 Preschool, located in Shoreline, near Seattle, WA, is a鈥� Christian鈥痜aith-based private preschool for children ages鈥�2.5 to 5.鈥� At the heart of our program is our personal relationship with Jesus and our desire to share His love with children. We are committed to providing each child with a thoughtful, creative, and cooperative learning curriculum that equips them in body, mind, and spirit for God鈥檚 purpose and glory.

We also offer extended morning care from 7:30-8:15 AM, and afternoon care from 3:00-5:00 PM (full-day programs only).
The teachers and staff at King鈥檚 Preschool have a unique calling to minister to the youngest of God鈥檚 children, knowing that we are planting seeds of truth and wisdom that will become an anchor for their lives. Our classes are based on research and applied knowledge in .
Music is a听major听part of the听preschool听day听and is used听to prepare听students听for听elementary school as well as听to听fill classrooms with fun and joy.听Students听explore instruments and听enjoy singing in circle time, during transitions,听and other times throughout the day.
A variety of art and writing materials are听available in the classrooms听to allow children to manipulate objects and explore their creativity.听Art and writing centers听are听designed to give children the opportunity to develop, create, process, and work through their own plans and ideas. Teachers guide children in these centers to听further听develop听language and communication skills through the听art and writing听process,听optimizing听autonomy, and听allowing children to become confident and proud of their听choices and听accomplishments.
At this center, children take on听various听roles and recreate real-life experiences while building their vocabulary and social skills through cooperation and community play.听Through听dramatic听play activities, students develop听a greater听capacity听for communication听and important听habits of mind that extend far beyond classroom walls and school years.
In addition to our centers, circle times, and other artistic opportunities throughout the general school day, we offer specialty classes each day of the week. These include Sports, Dance, Music, Drama, Spanish and Visual Arts classes, taught by experts, to promote creative learning, foster multicultural awareness, and reinforce and enrich skills and content being taught in the classroom.

For this academic year, King鈥檚 Christian Preschool Full Day hours are Monday-Friday from 8:15 AM to 3:00 PM and our Half Day hours are Monday-Friday 8:15 AM to 12:15 PM.
